At Dusky Lark, we create gifts people genuinely enjoy receiving and sharing with those around them. Our gifts are thoughtfully curated and personalized in-house — from handcrafted wooden boxes to engraved boards and custom packaging.

We can incorporate logos, branding, and personalization where appropriate, while making sure the gift still feels warm, useful, and enjoyable for the recipient.

OUR APPROACH TO CUSTOM & SEMI-CUSTOM GIFTING

At Dusky Lark, we create premium handmade gifts. Each one is carefully curated and personalized in-house — from wooden boxes and engraved boards to custom packaging.

For custom and semi-custom projects, we communicate by email so we can review details, share references, and confirm everything before production begins. This helps avoid misunderstandings and ensures the final gifts look exactly as expected.

1. Inquiry

Send us a message. We need as much details as possible: number of gifts, your budget, deadline and what kind of packaging and personalization you are looking for. We will get back to you within 24 hours.

2. Communication

You’ll receive a brief project intake form that helps us understand what matters most to you, allowing us to move forward with clarity and purpose on your custom gift.

3. Planning

After reviewing your completed form - including scope, budget, timeline, and customization needs - we’ll confirm next steps and provide a clear, personalized path forward.

4. Design Proposal

To get started on your custom design, we ask for a deposit (toward your order). It secures your spot, covers custom design work & mock-ups, and ensures every detail gets our full attention. We will present initial gift design proposals for your review.

5. Approval

After design approval, we’ll provide a final invoice based on quantities, shipping destinations, and any requested upgrades.

6. Production

We will handcraft your gift boxes and prepare them for shipment. Production time varies depending on the project type but is typically 2-5 weeks.

7. Free Shipping

We will pack the gifts to perfection, and send them straight to your recipients doorstep or to your office. We will handle all aspects of coordination, shipping/delivery and keep you up-to-date on the delivery status.

Branding Options

We provide in-house customization with balance at the core. Subtle logo engraving on wooden and leather materials can be incorporated thoughtfully — never overpowering the gift.

We can also engrave your recipient’s name or family name, transforming each hardwood box into a keepsake designed to be repurposed for years — storing heirlooms, letters, photographs or meaningful items at home.
